Signing up unlocks two related features: a personal wishlist and an optional weekly digest email.
Wishlist
On any tournament (its detail page or the Tournament Explorer table), the heart/save icon adds it to your wishlist. Open the full list any time from the account menu in the nav, or at /player/wishlist.
Weekly digest
During onboarding -- or later from your account settings -- you can opt into a weekly email that matches new or upcoming tournaments against:
- Your home country
- The categories you told us you play (Classical/Rapid/Blitz)
- Whether you asked for FIDE-rated only
It is off by default. Choosing "Don't email me" during onboarding, or later, means TourneyRadar will not send it -- you can always revisit the choice.
Why this matters
The wishlist and digest are the difference between finding a tournament once and actually remembering to register before entries close.
